About the Exhibition "Iramkarapte"

I am honored to hold my solo exhibition at the Meditation Eco Village, Iramkarapte, located in the beautiful nature of Azumino, Nagano Prefecture.

As a result, I decided to name my exhibition "Iramkarapte," borrowing this beautiful name for the occasion.

I am truly grateful for this opportunity.

The exhibition venue, Meditation Eco Village Iramkarapte, also offers accommodations as a guest house.

It’s a place where a peaceful, fairy-tale-like atmosphere envelops you.

The wind and people are gentle, making the atmosphere very comfortable.

In the sunlight, the trees sway,

and the insects and birds sing songs of healing.

The pleasant scent of wood and earth

gently fills your lungs.

The things that once bound me—

anxieties, fears—

slowly begin to dissolve.

I find myself healing.

It’s like that blissful sensation you get after a sauna,

a light and soothing feeling.

If you are able to visit, I highly recommend staying for a few days.

Surrounded by gentle nature, kind people, and art,

it will be a retreat experience where you can reconnect with your true self, just as you are.

"Iramkarapte"

This mysterious-sounding word is used as a "greeting" by the indigenous Ainu people of Hokkaido.

In modern Japanese, it would be equivalent to saying "Hello," but the true meaning of this word is:

"I will gently touch your heart."

It reflects the Ainu's deep respect for all life and their harmonious way of living with nature.

This philosophy and way of life seem to be clearly reflected in their culture.

Additionally, this word and its meaning resonate with the experience of viewing Kota’s art.

This is because his work is created based on the concept that "everything is one" (everything in this universe is one).

And because art, in this sense, touches the heart deeply.

I have already received such warm and gentle feedback from those who have visited the exhibition.

I visited around 10:30 today.

The artwork was shocking!!!

Both the artwork and the exhibition space were wonderful,

filled with energy,

and after the exhibition, it felt like I received an energy healing session,

my personal axis straightened.

My vibration rose,

and all the worries I had before the exhibition disappeared.

I was just in a state of pure happiness, which lasted even after I returned.

It was the first time I had such an experience at an exhibition.

I will definitely go again.
