Atelier view

At this atelier,

I held a solo exhibition in the spring of 2023.

I hope the atmosphere of the exhibition can be conveyed through the reviews from the visitors at that time.

The words of everyone are filled with energy,

and just reading them warms my heart.

I received feedback from a person who visited the atelier.

They kindly gave permission for me to share their thoughts here.

Thank you so much!

The following is a quote:

-----------------------

Dear Kota,

Thank you for the opportunity to view your paintings today.

I can't fully express it in words,

but the harmony between the paintings, the space, and the energy Kota exudes

made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout.

Some paintings were powerful,

while others were so delicate and gentle that I couldn't believe a man painted them.

There seemed to be a balance between masculinity and femininity, between yin and yang,

and I found myself meditating on the paintings in a mysterious, otherworldly space.

My head felt light,

my forehead tingled,

and I felt gentle emotions.

My heart and body responded as well.

When viewed with the naked eye, each painting had its own expression,

and I felt that Kota's paintings were alive, as if they had a soul.

The way the light hit them changed the colors,

and I felt many energies that couldn’t be captured in photos.

I felt surrounded by a large, invisible presence of love,

and I felt the strength of life itself.

I felt as though I was being gently told,

"It’s okay, just express your own colors."

"You’re fine. You’ve done well."

The paintings and Kota gave me a gentle cheer,

and I felt as though my back was being pushed forward.

I feel that many people, including myself,

need love and warmth,

those who feel a strong sense of separation or loneliness,

those who have closed off their possibilities,

those who want to face their true selves and connect,

and those who need just one more step to fully trust themselves.

Thank you for this wonderful experience.
