When I saw the paintings in person, my impression of “Oh, I like this!” was the same, and I couldn’t help but be captivated. That impulse I felt at the time is still a mystery to me. Even now, it remains my absolute favorite.

The spring-like creatures depicted in the painting bring a cheerful feeling whenever I look at it. At home, it is displayed in the living room. It always radiates a gentle, loving gaze.

From the moment I encountered this piece at the exhibition, it felt inexplicably dear to me and stayed in my thoughts.
