Art exhibit in Bangkok, Thailand | Kota | Oneness Artist
I participated in the group art exhibition CrossOver Vol.32 held in Bangkok, Thailand in March 2022.
The venue was 6060 ARTS SPACE.
I did not personally attend the event, but allowed my artworks to travel there instead.
For two works with the motif of "change," I incorporated entirely new techniques.
Many people who saw the works at the venue stopped and took their time to observe them in their own way.
At first glance, one might wonder: Is this an abstract painting?
But if you continue to look at it, something seems to emerge from the design.
As the animals and the wood grain of the wooden panel as the medium visually surface, each viewer's own emotions and thoughts begin to emerge as well.
This means that the way the viewer perceives and feels also "changes."
In other words, by viewing the artwork, one ends up seeing their own internal transformation.
The fact that you can never return to the initial impression you had when you first saw it,
And the fact that a new world has emerged before you,
It makes you experience the duality of "change"—the sadness that disappears and the beauty of growth.
In Thailand, where there is significant growth and change happening right now, the artworks themed around "change" have traveled, and through this journey, they have been transformed into pieces with even greater artistic value.
I believe the artwork was completed, including this process.
Also, exhibiting in foreign Bangkok and using new techniques were new challenges for me.
Challenging myself with something new
Doing what no one else is doing
These things often bring fear and anxiety.
However, I believe that such things hold great value.
Through my art and my activities, I hope to embody these aspects and be someone who can support others.
I will continue to strive and create.
Thank you to everyone who visited and viewed the exhibition, and to all the people involved—thank you very much!
If there is an opportunity, I look forward to working together again.
Until next time.
