The place where art is born, is a place overflowing with “Qi.” Because it is the artist’s own atelier, there is surely something that can be felt more deeply.
“When standing at various crossroads in life, it won’t be words from others, but a landscape you once saw that will encourage you, and give you courage.”
What one person can do may not be much. But I felt that this is what I can do now, and that it is my mission. Where The Light Is / Where the light is. I felt that it is precisely in places like this that the light shines brighter.
When I saw the finished painting, I felt a warm and immense sense of comfort that enveloped me completely. It was so fulfilling that tears welled up in my eyes, and I was overcome with gratitude.
I was strongly reminded that both hot springs and art have the power to heal people.
