On April 13th (Sat), I will be holding a special one-day event at the venue of my solo exhibition. This is a farewell party for everyone to get together in harmony before I, the artist Kota, leave the country for the last time. Let’s spend a rich time in a space surrounded by a lot of art.
The last event will be held at Atelier U+Me, a studio created by Kota, an artist of oneness. This is a place that will never exist again, and it is also the site of his solo exhibition, where I will hold a meditation surrounded by many artworks. And this meditation will be very different from ordinary meditations.
For a limited time, 50% of the sales from my artwork will be donated for disaster relief for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
The true artist, Van Gogh. I have always loved Van Gogh. To be able to carry out an art project in a place that can be called his sacred ground, I am truly honored.
Humans are creatures that require both elements. Because through art, people can enrich their hearts. Through art, they can empathize with others, heal themselves, and touch love. And through art, they discover the meaning of living.
