Cosmic Rhythm Series
Reclaimed wood collected from the Netherlands. The shapes, cracks, and marks left on the surface carry traces of someone's life. By washing what was once discarded and giving it new life as art.
Phosphorescent paint and interference pigment are applied. The work shifts in appearance depending on the light.
A figure sampled from Hokusai's Fugaku Sanjūrokkei — Bushū Tamagawa, alongside Mount Fuji and the red sun disc. These motifs are painted in mineral pigment.
