Meditate surrounded by art in a ki-filled atelier

Qi+ Meditation

~ Solo exhibition, "Qi" had another dimension ~

There was a higher dimension to "Qi" ~

Following the wonderful connections made at the recent solo exhibition 'Qi',

I am excited to announce the release of a limited-time art project:

"Qi+"

The concept is for artist Kota to collaborate with individuals from different industries and genres, healing and energizing everyone involved.

This is a new art project following Where The Light Is.

As the first installment, we will host:

"Qi + Meditation"

which will be held for two days in May 2023.

Following the success of the event in April 2023,

where many visitors were healed and energized at Atelier U+Me during Kota’s solo exhibition 'Qi',

we will gather a small group for a meditation session surrounded by multiple artworks in the same venue.

Art x Sound x Meditation = Fantasy Experience

A meditation experience like no other in the world. A mystical time that will become a lifelong memory.

At the atelier, you will have the unique opportunity to meditate in front of one of Kota’s favorite original artworks. This is a meditation session exclusive to Atelier U+Me.

Additionally,

On the day of the event, we will have a meditation instructor, Hideki Kakita, a specialist who has traveled to India five times and continuously practices meditation. He will guide the session, and we will use instruments such as the singing bowls and ethnic instruments to enhance the relaxation experience.

Like-minded individuals will gather, and with your favorite artwork in front of you, combined with live mystical music and expert guidance, everything will connect and interact, enveloping you in an even stronger and purer "Qi."

For those seeking healing, for those in need of energy,

For those searching for something new,

For those asking "What is meditation?",

For those who meditate regularly,

This is a recommended experience.

This gentle experience will surely continue to illuminate your life from deep within your heart.

Through this one-of-a-kind meditation experience,

Let’s spend a mystical time that will become a lifelong memory.

A step towards a better life

When I mention “We will be having a meditation session,” it’s interesting to see the various reactions from people, depending on their background.

Person A: "Meditation? What is it? Is it a religion?"
Person B: "I might just fall asleep..."
Person C: "I absolutely want to join!"
Person D: "Is it really okay to have such a session at such an affordable price?"
This reminds me that people tend to think based on their own knowledge and experiences.

It seems that for A and B, they have some preconceived ideas about meditation that may involve emptiness or vagueness.

On the other hand, people like C and D, who already have experience with meditation or intuitively understand the importance of meditation and the rarity of this event, recognize its value.

While one might dismiss meditation as “just meditation,” there’s a long-standing tradition that has been passed down through ancient times.

Any practice that has been sustained for such a long time unquestionably has its reasons (or benefits).

Currently, a form of meditation known as Mindfulness is trending worldwide, and in particular, many large companies in Silicon Valley, such as Google and Facebook, have incorporated it into their corporate training.

Why?

It’s because it has been shown to clearly improve work efficiency:

Stress relief.
Improved concentration.
Enhanced creativity.
Inner peace, and more.
Meditation, originally from the East, has been embraced by the West because of its usefulness. It’s now trending and being widely accepted.

Interestingly, meditation is now also making a comeback in the East, almost like a reverse import.

(It's almost like a round trip around the globe, which is fascinating...)

So, why is meditation so beneficial to humans? Why is it so popular around the world now?

The answer is best found by experiencing it yourself, rather than trying to express it in words.

It’s a sensation that words cannot truly convey.

Imagine someone who has never ridden a bicycle. How would you explain the feeling of riding a bike to them?

Or, how would you explain to someone who has never been in the water what it feels like to swim in the ocean?

To truly experience it, the best way is to practice it under the guidance of a genuine instructor and, ideally, in a group of multiple people.

And once you have experienced it, incorporating it into your daily life will be the best flow for personal growth.

The difference between a life without knowing or practicing meditation, and one where meditation is known and practiced, is clear when we look at great figures, companies, and history.

Meditation can even be seen as a tool for walking a better path in life.

This meditation session is not just a regular session; it’s a visual approach, as you will meditate in front of original artworks that you can gaze upon.

Additionally, there will be a sonic approach, using mystical ethnic instruments that produce harmonic overtones.

The group consciousness of multiple participants will gather in the sacred space of the atelier, and the session will be led by an experienced instructor.

I hope this meditation session will be the first step toward a better life for someone. This is the kind of session I want to support.

●Profile

Hideki Kakitani

Professional Akashic Leader, Meditation Guide, Instructor

Brief History:

Since childhood, I may have had a slightly unusual side,

not quite the typical person.

Although I went on to high school and university,

I started to feel a sense of "dissonance" within the framework of

conventional Japanese society.

From that time, I began self-exploration,

awakening to spiritual practices in the so-called spiritual world,

and during this process, I started traveling solo as a backpacker

mainly in Southeast Asia and India.

After graduating from university,

I worked as an employee for a publicly traded entertainment company,

engaging in sales, planning, and creative work.

While working as a company employee,

I decided to pursue a path of offering spiritual

and metaphysical support to the world.

Afterward,

I studied meditation, healing, and reading at schools in Japan and stayed in India.

I have traveled to India five times so far.

(As of 2023)

Later,

I began Akashic Reading sessions as a professional Akashic reader,

and was selected as a supporter and instructor for the school I graduated from,

gaining more experience.

Now, my vision is to "release the light of the soul,"

and I am supporting people in radiating their "soul's light" into

the world through Akashic Reading sessions,

healing sessions, meditation courses,

self-awareness, and other various courses.

this time, the focus will be on opening the heart chakra.
