In January 2022,

I saw a single color copy flyer posted and thought,

"Oh, I like this!"

So, I went to the solo exhibition on its very first day.

At that time, the artist had not arrived yet.

I liked paintings (the traditional kind), but I had never seen modern contemporary artworks before.

When I saw the paintings in person, my impression of "Oh, I like this!" was the same, and I couldn't help but be captivated.

Also, it somewhat resembled "The Mandala of the Great Sun Buddha."

I was also drawn to the word "Oneness,"

which artist Kota advocates.

That impulse I felt at the time is still a mystery to me.

Even now, it remains my absolute favorite.
