Immanence

The main works in this exhibition are made from reclaimed wood gathered from the streets of this neighborhood, where Bistro Loft is located. I pick up what has been discarded, wash it, and bring it back to life as art. A form like no other, its cracks, its scars. Within each piece lies a history shared with someone unknown. And then there is the wood grain, a trace inscribed over long years by “a living plant” and “the cosmic order.” I enter into dialogue with them, and paint what I see within.
I hope this exhibition and these works may help you remember something precious within yourself.
