Since August 2022,

I have been exhibiting a few pieces of artwork at the VOSTOK beauty salon in Jiyugaoka.

Among them are two precious pieces that were part of an exhibition journey in Bangkok, Thailand. You can see more about them here.

The beauty salon creates art on people's hair.

It is a new collaboration between artists from different industries and forms.

I am grateful to VOSTOK for giving me this opportunity.

This unique collaboration between a contemporary artist and a beauty salon

began suddenly in an unconventional format:

by appointment only, with the address undisclosed,

and no prior announcement.

The exhibition, planned for a few months,

will also end without prior notice.

This exhibition goes completely against the activities of artists around the world.

It is the world’s first guerrilla-style art exhibition,

and I believe the act of this exhibition itself can be considered an intangible

contemporary art piece.

The innovator-like element of executing something no one else has done, or creating a precedent,

is one of the reasons for an artist's existence.
